Core Design led a collaborative design process for the City of Mill Creek’s newest public park, Buffalo Park. Core worked with the developer of the adjacent multifamily/townhome project, the City of Mill Creek and local stakeholders/neighborhoods to create a park master-plan. Core also developed design and construction documents along with the environmental checklist for this project. The park’s unique name was derived from a city-wide public naming contest. Buffalo Park is anticipated to break ground this summer and is proposed to include a bocce ball court, public restroom, picnic area, open lawns, landscaping, play structures and a hand-ball court.
