Lafe Hermansen - A Project Manager at Core since August of 2000, Hermansen currently leads the Planning Department offering Landscape Architecture, Planning and Urban Design services.   Current projects include master planned communities in Chelan and Silverdale as well as a multitude of low impact development projects such as green roofs, rain garden designs for cottages in Kirkland and bioretention swales for a vacation community in Whatcom County. 

Ken Shipley, P.L.S. - Ken leads Core’s Survey Department overseeing field survey operations, construction layout and staking.   An expert in state-of-the-art survey technology such as GPS and 3D laser scanning, Shipley is also highly regarded for his experience and knowledge of platting, right-of-way determinations, route surveys, control surveys, condominium surveys and ALTA surveys.  Current projects include overseeing survey services at Port Blakely Communities’ Issaquah Highlands project and Polygon Northwest’s Lakeland and Riverview projects in Kent and Auburn respectively.
