Watch Core Build a Seafair Milk Carton Derby Boat

Core Design participated in its first ever Seafair Milk Carton Derby on July 11th, 2009. It took many months of planning to come up with a design and to obtain cartons from homes, coffee stands, Dairygold and even ads on Craigslist; it was a full-on team effort that collected 10,000 cartons!

The most difficult part of the operation was deciding what to build.  Because of our barrage of milk cartons, we knew we wanted something big.  In the end it seemed only natural to build a container ship out of milk containers; we named it “Core-Tainer Ship.”  Watch the video and see our boat take shape.
